1、 The functions of the three major filters
1. Fuel filter:
Commonly known as diesel grid, the fuel filter filters various impurities and moisture in the fuel to protect the normal operation of the diesel generator set. It is one of the important components in the engine system of the crew. The fuel filter of a diesel generator set has the advantages of high filtration accuracy, high oil-water separation efficiency, and long service life, providing protection for the unit to reduce maintenance costs.
2. Oil filter:
The performance of the oil filter in a diesel generator set directly affects the performance of the unit and plays a critical role in the normal operation of the engine. The oil filter has high filtration accuracy, low flow resistance, and long service life. There are also innovatively designed full flow split composite machine filters and world leading centrifugal rotor filters. Provide protection for the engine while ensuring its performance to reduce maintenance costs.  
3. Air filter:

2、 Maintenance precautions for filters
1. If the oil filter of the diesel generator set is not maintained in a timely manner during use, the filter element will become clogged, the oil pressure will increase, the safety valve will open, and the lubricating oil will directly flow into the main oil passage, which will aggravate the wear of the lubricating surface and affect the service life of the diesel generator set. Therefore, the oil filter should be cleaned once every 180-200 hours of operation. If any damage is found, it should be replaced immediately to prevent impurities from entering the lubricating surface. When using a diesel generator set during seasonal changes, the crankcase and lubrication surfaces should also be cleaned. The method is to mix engine oil, kerosene, and diesel to make a washing oil. After the engine oil is released, the washing oil can be added for cleaning. Then, the diesel generator should run at low speed for 3-5 minutes, drain the washing oil, and add new engine oil.
2. The air filter of the diesel generator set should not be installed with missing, reverse or incorrect sealing gaskets and rubber connecting pipes, and the tightness of each fitting should be ensured. The paper dust collection cup air filter used should be cleaned of dust once every 50-100 hours of operation. The surface dust can be brushed off with a soft bristled brush. If it has been in operation for more than 500 hours or is damaged, it should be replaced in a timely manner. Using an oil bath air filter, clean the filter element with clean diesel every 100-200 hours of operation and replace the engine oil. If the filter element is broken, it should be replaced immediately, and attention should be paid to adding engine oil according to regulations during use.
3. The various fuel filters in the fuel supply system of diesel generator sets should be cleaned of debris once every 100-200 hours of operation, and the fuel tank and various oil pipelines should be thoroughly cleaned. When cleaning the filter element and seals, special attention should be paid. If any damage is found, it should be replaced in a timely manner. When changing oil during seasonal transitions, all components of the entire fuel supply system should be cleaned. The diesel used should meet the seasonal requirements and undergo 48 hours of precipitation purification treatment.
