Introduction to Gas Generator Sets

Gas generator sets mainly use natural gas, associated petroleum gas, liquefied petroleum gas, etc., as fuel, and are widely applied in oil fields and regions rich in natural gas resources. Featuring quick startup, convenient operation, complete protection systems, and advanced economic indicators, they can serve as power and electrical equipment for oil fields and local enterprises.

Main Applications:

  1. Driving oil pumping units with wellhead associated gas;
  2. Generating power with excess natural gas for grid connection;
  3. Driving water injection pumps and mixed transmission pumps with natural gas separated at gathering stations;
  4. Serving as alternative power sources or directly driving compressors in natural gas filling stations;
  5. Acting as backup/alternative power sources for hotels;
  6. Applied in combined cooling, heating, and power (CCHP) systems to achieve cascade energy utilization, with high comprehensive efficiency and reduced operating costs;
  7. Establishing small and medium-sized power stations.

Technical Specifications and Features:

  1. Gas Engines: Developed based on Deutz 6M, 8M, 234, 604, 620 series and Cummins B, C, L, M, N, K series diesel engines. According to the physical properties of gas fuels, key thermal load components such as cylinder heads, pistons, piston rings, intake/exhaust valves, valve seats, and camshafts are re-optimized to extend the engine's service life under high thermal load conditions. Components like fans, radiator water tanks, intercoolers, turbochargers, and exhaust manifolds are reselected based on gas engine characteristics, creating true gas engines.
  2. Industrial-Grade Ignition Control System: Electric control (ECU) sequential ignition system. According to the operating conditions of gas generator sets, real-time calibration is performed via software to compile load-ignition MAP diagrams for precise ignition timing control. Matched with industrial-grade high-energy independent ignition coils (80mJ-300mJ optional) and spark plugs to improve combustion efficiency, reduce engine exhaust temperature, enhance starting performance, and ensure stable and reliable operation.
  3. Gas-Specific Speed Control System: Adopts internationally renowned brand gas-specific speed controllers, featuring small speed fluctuation, fast transient response, stable operation, high-quality power output, and generator set electrical performance meeting or exceeding G2 standards.

    • Transient speed regulation rate ≤ ±4%
    • Frequency fluctuation rate ≤ ±0.5%
    • Steady-state voltage regulation rate ≤ ±0.3%

  4. Low-Pressure Design & Low Fuel Consumption: Utilizes advanced international gas flow control technology and lean burn technology, optimizes the supercharging system, and employs precise high-energy ignition to improve engine combustion efficiency and reduce fuel consumption. It can operate with a pipeline pressure as low as 0.5kpa.
  5. Generators: Use brushless self-excited synchronous generators with automatic voltage regulators from well-known brands. The main rotor features integral salient pole punching sheets, integrated by aluminum die-casting and full damping windings. The interlayer of windings is filled with high-grade thermosetting epoxy resin, ensuring good electrical insulation and reliable mechanical strength. Generators comply with standards such as GB755, BS5000, VDE0530, NEMA MG1-22, IED34-1, CSA22.2, and AS1359.
  6. Gas Supply Safety Valve Group: Gas regulation pipelines and safety designs comply with the EU gas component standard 90/356/EWG certification.
  7. Unit Control Cabinet: Equipped with internationally renowned brand comAp controllers, ensuring high reliability and stability. Modular design, compact structure, simple wiring, easy operation, and convenient maintenance. The control panel features a 4-line ultra-wide LCD text display and multiple protection functions, enabling remote monitoring.
  8. Waste Heat Recovery System: Uses high-efficiency heat exchangers to recover waste heat from cylinder jacket water and flue gas, generating high-quality hot water or steam. The total thermal efficiency of the unit exceeds 85% (designable according to specific customer requirements), complying with the European DGRL 97/23 standard.
  9. Intelligent CHP Control System: An intelligent CHP management system produced by patented technology can realize power generation based on heat demand or heat supply based on power demand, meeting different user needs.
  10. Silent Design: The noise pressure level of the unit at 7 meters ≤ 70 decibels, and some units ≤ 55 decibels.
  11. Gas Unit Manufacturing Standards: Comply with NEMA/ISO/IEC/CSA, ISO8528, ISO3046, GB/T2820.5-1997, BG/T22343-2008.
  12. Gas Unit Safety Standards: Comply with European gas system technical specifications 90/356/EWG, ECE R110, R67, and CE standards.
